It’s time to celebrate a successful journey of collaboration and innovation of circular textile projects and take a look at were are we in the circular economy of textiles!

We welcome you to Helsinki to hear how circular business models, digital tools, and cross-border cooperation are shaping a more sustainable textile future. Baltic2Hand project is ready to share its results and Telaketju network is celebrating its 10th anniversary. So let’s celebrate!

Our speakers will offer diverse perspectives on textile circularity:

  • Pinja Perho, Member of the Finnish Parliament, will present the policy perspective on the textile sector.
  • Salla Kuuluvainen, Baltic2Hand project leader from Finland, will share insights on textile reuse and how the project has collaborated with companies across the Baltic Sea Region.
  • Dace Akule from Latvia will discuss international cooperation in textile circularity, highlighting connections between the Nordic-Baltic region, the EU, and global consumption links to Africa, Asia, and the USA.
    Pirjo Heikkilä, project leader from VTT Finland, will reflect on over a decade of textile recycling development in Finland and beyond.

There will also be plenty of time to reconnect with old friends, meet new ones, and celebrate our shared journey!
